So, what is ails des ours?
Ails des ours, also known as wild garlic or ramsons, is a herbaceous plant that grows in shady and damp woodland areas across Europe and Asia. It is easily identifiable by its long, narrow leaves and clusters of small white flowers that bloom in early spring. The leaves and bulbs of ails des ours are commonly used in culinary dishes, adding a pungent, garlicky flavor to salads, soups, sauces, and pesto. Rich in vitamins and antioxidants, ails des ours is not only a delicious ingredient but also a nutritious addition to any meal.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
