So, what is amendoins?
Amendoins, also known as peanuts, are a versatile and nutrient-dense food ingredient that is widely used in both savory and sweet dishes. These small, oval-shaped nuts have a crunchy texture and a mildly nutty flavor that complements a wide range of flavors. They are an excellent source of protein, fiber, healthy fats, and essential vitamins and minerals. Amendoins are commonly used to make peanut butter, roasted and salted for snacking, or ground into flour for baking. They are also a popular ingredient in Asian cuisine, where they are used to add flavor and texture to dishes such as stir-fries and noodle dishes.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
