So, what is cardamoms?
Cardamom is a unique and versatile spice that is widely used in many culinary traditions, including Indian, Middle Eastern, and Scandinavian cuisine. It is known for its warm, sweet, and slightly citrusy flavor, which pairs well with both sweet and savory dishes. Cardamom pods contain small black seeds that are ground into a powder or used whole to infuse flavor into dishes like curries, stews, and baked goods. In addition to its culinary uses, cardamom is also believed to have medicinal properties and has been used for centuries to aid digestion and freshen breath.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
