So, what is natrio hidrokarbonatas?
Natrio hidrokarbonatas, also known as sodium bicarbonate, is a white crystalline powder that is commonly used as a leavening agent in baking. It is a weak base that reacts with acidic ingredients in a recipe, such as vinegar or lemon juice, to produce carbon dioxide gas. This gas causes the dough or batter to rise, resulting in a light and fluffy texture. In addition to baking, natrio hidrokarbonatas has many other uses, including as a cleaning agent, antacid, and even in fire extinguishers. However, it should be used in moderation due to its high sodium content.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
