So, what is oréganos?
Oréganos, commonly known as oregano, is a fragrant and flavorful herb that has been used in Mediterranean cuisine for centuries. This herb is characterized by its pungent aroma and slightly bitter taste, which make it a popular seasoning for savory dishes such as pizzas, pastas, soups, and stews. Oréganos are typically dried before use, and can be found whole or ground in most supermarkets. In addition to its culinary uses, oregano is also believed to have medicinal properties, including anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial effects. Overall, oréganos add a delicious and healthy touch to any dish they're added to.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
