So, what is ramboutans?

Ramboutans are a tropical fruit with a unique appearance and flavor. They are small, round fruits with a hairy, red shell that opens to reveal a translucent, juicy flesh that is sweet and slightly tart. The texture is similar to that of a grape, but with a firmer bite. Ramboutans are rich in vitamin C, fiber, and antioxidants, and are often eaten raw or used in desserts, jams, and cocktails. Originally from Southeast Asia, ramboutans have become increasingly popular in Western countries, where they are often found in specialty food stores and exotic fruit markets.
