So, what is abrikozenpitten?
Abrikozenpitten are the small, almond-shaped seeds found inside apricots. These seeds are often used in cooking and baking, as they add a subtle nutty flavor and a slight crunch to dishes. They are also a good source of healthy fats, protein, and fiber. Abrikozenpitten can be roasted and used as a topping for salads, yogurt, or oatmeal, or ground into a fine powder and used in baking recipes such as cookies or muffins. However, it's important to note that consuming large amounts of abrikozenpitten can be harmful, as they contain a compound called amygdalin that can break down into cyanide when ingested in excess.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
