So, what is acide pantothenique?
Acide pantothenique, commonly known as pantothenic acid, is a water-soluble vitamin that belongs to the B-complex family. It plays a crucial role in the metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins, and fats, converting them into energy that the body can use. This essential nutrient is also involved in the production of red blood cells and the synthesis of certain hormones and neurotransmitters. Acide pantothenique can be found in many foods, including meat, fish, whole grains, legumes, and vegetables, or can be taken as a dietary supplement. Its deficiency is rare, but can lead to fatigue, numbness, and digestive issues.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
