So, what is ammoniumkloridia?
Ammoniumkloridia, also known as ammonium chloride, is a colorless, crystalline substance commonly used in food production as a yeast nutrient, food additive, and flavoring agent. It has a slightly salty taste and is often used in the manufacture of licorice and other confectionery products. Ammoniumkloridia is also used in the production of baked goods, cheese, and other dairy products. Due to its ability to enhance flavors, it is sometimes added to seasoning blends and spice mixes. However, it is important to note that excessive consumption of ammoniumkloridia can cause stomach irritation and other health issues.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
