So, what is artificial flavour?
Artificial flavors are chemically synthesized compounds that mimic the taste and aroma of natural flavors. They are widely used in the food industry to enhance or create flavors that are not found in nature. These flavors are typically produced through a combination of chemicals and natural ingredients and are carefully formulated to meet specific taste requirements. While some people may prefer the taste of natural flavors, artificial flavors can be more consistent and cost-effective. However, it's important to note that some people may have adverse reactions to certain artificial flavors and may want to avoid consuming them.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
