So, what is azoto?
Azoto is a chemical compound commonly referred to as nitrogen. This essential element is an odorless and colorless gas that makes up about 78% of the Earth's atmosphere, playing a vital role in many biological processes. In the food industry, azoto is used as a food additive for its ability to preserve freshness, improve texture, and enhance flavor. It is commonly used in packaged foods such as potato chips, crackers, and nuts. Azoto can also be found in the form of liquid nitrogen, which is used in molecular gastronomy to create unique dishes and desserts with a dramatic presentation.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
