So, what is bloemsuiker?
Bloemsuiker, also known as powdered sugar or icing sugar, is a fine, white, and powdery sweetener made by pulverizing granulated sugar into a fine powder. It is commonly used in baking and dessert recipes to add sweetness, and to create smooth and creamy textures in frostings, glazes, and fillings. Bloemsuiker is also used as a decorative topping for pastries, cookies, and cakes, and it can be dusted over French toast, pancakes, or waffles for a sweet breakfast treat. Due to its fine texture, bloemsuiker dissolves quickly, making it ideal for creating smooth and glossy icings and glazes.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
