So, what is brawn?
Brawn is a savory meat dish made from various parts of a pig's head, such as the cheeks, tongue, and ears. After being cooked for hours with herbs and spices, the meat is shredded and molded into a block shape using the natural gelatin present in the meat. This results in a soft, jellied texture that is both tender and flavorful. Brawn is often served cold and sliced, either on its own or as a component of a charcuterie board. It's a popular ingredient in British cuisine and is known for its rich taste and unique texture.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
