So, what is cheongyang pepper?
Cheongyang pepper is a spicy, bright green chili pepper native to South Korea. It's known for its intense heat, which can range from 10 to 20 times hotter than a jalapeño pepper. Despite its heat, the pepper has a unique and complex flavor profile, with hints of sweetness and citrus. It's commonly used in Korean cuisine, particularly for making kimchi and other spicy dishes. Cheongyang peppers are also packed with vitamins A and C, making them a great addition to any diet.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
