So, what is chiazaad?
Chiazaad, also known as chia seeds, are tiny, oval-shaped seeds that are native to Mexico and Guatemala. They are an excellent source of fiber, protein, and omega-3 fatty acids, making them a popular ingredient in healthy diets. When soaked in liquid, chiazaad develop a gel-like texture, making them a great addition to smoothies, puddings, and oatmeal. They can also be sprinkled on top of salads or used as a topping for yogurt. Chiazaad are gluten-free and have a mild, nutty flavor that complements a variety of dishes.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
