So, what is chou de chine?
Chou de Chine, also known as Chinese cabbage, is a leafy vegetable that belongs to the Brassica family. This cruciferous vegetable has a delicate flavor, with a slightly sweet and crisp taste. Its elongated leaves form a tight, cone-shaped head that can range in color from pale green to a darker, almost blue-green hue. Chinese cabbage is rich in nutrients, including vitamins C and K, fiber, and antioxidants. It's a versatile ingredient that can be used in a variety of dishes, such as stir-fries, soups, and salads. With its unique taste and health benefits, chou de Chine is a great addition to any meal.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
