So, what is civada?
Civada is a type of cereal grain that is commonly used in Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine. Also known as "bulgur," it is made from partially cooked and dried cracked wheat kernels that are then ground into small pieces. Civada has a nutty flavor and a chewy texture, making it a popular ingredient in salads, stews, and pilafs. It is a good source of fiber, protein, and B vitamins, and is also low in fat and calories. Civada is easy to prepare and can be cooked in a variety of ways, making it a versatile and healthy addition to any meal.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
