So, what is coco?
Coco, also known as coconut, is a versatile and nutritious food ingredient with a rich tropical flavor. It is derived from the fruit of the coconut palm tree, which is native to the tropics and subtropics. Coco can be used in a variety of culinary applications, from savory dishes to sweet desserts. It is an excellent source of healthy fats, fiber, and essential vitamins and minerals, including potassium, magnesium, and iron. Whether used in shredded form, as coconut milk or cream, or as coconut oil, coco adds a unique flavor and nutritional profile to any dish.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
