So, what is coffein?
"Coffein," also known as caffeine, is a natural stimulant found in various plants, including coffee beans, tea leaves, and cacao pods. It is a bitter-tasting white powder that is highly soluble in water and has a molecular structure similar to other stimulants, such as theophylline and theobromine. Coffein is widely consumed worldwide for its stimulating effects on the central nervous system, including increased alertness, improved cognitive function, and reduced fatigue. In addition to its stimulatory properties, it also has potential health benefits, such as lowering the risk of certain diseases and improving exercise performance. However, excessive consumption of coffein can lead to adverse effects, including anxiety, insomnia, and digestive issues.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
