So, what is cuișoare?
Cuișoare, also known as cloves, are small, dark brown flower buds that are native to Indonesia but are now widely cultivated in other tropical regions. With a strong, pungent, and sweet aroma, cuișoare are a popular spice used in both sweet and savory dishes, particularly in Indian, Middle Eastern, and African cuisines. Cuișoare have numerous health benefits, including anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties, and are often used in traditional medicine. They are also used in the production of perfumes, soaps, and other fragrances. Cuișoare can be used whole or ground, and add a distinct and powerful flavor to any dish.
