So, what is datil pepper?
The datil pepper is a small, fiery chili pepper that originated in St. Augustine, Florida. It has a distinctively sweet and fruity flavor, followed by a powerful heat that can range from 100,000 to 300,000 Scoville heat units. The pepper is commonly used in hot sauces, salsas, marinades, and rubs to add a bold and spicy kick to dishes. Due to its limited cultivation area, the datil pepper is considered a rare and unique ingredient that adds an authentic Southern flavor to any recipe.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
