So, what is de bresaola?

Bresaola is a cured beef delicacy that originates from the Lombardy region in Italy. It is made from lean cuts of beef, typically the round or hind leg, which are salted and seasoned with spices such as juniper berries, black pepper, and rosemary. The meat is then air-dried for several months until it is dark red in color and has a rich, slightly nutty flavor. Bresaola is often served thinly sliced as an antipasto, paired with sharp cheeses or drizzled with olive oil and lemon juice. It is also a popular ingredient in salads and sandwiches, adding depth and complexity to any dish.
