So, what is de linaza?
De linaza, also known as flaxseed, is a versatile and nutrient-rich ingredient that has been consumed for centuries. It is a small, brown, and shiny seed that is packed with fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, and lignans, which are plant compounds that have antioxidant properties. Flaxseed has a mild, nutty flavor and can be eaten whole, ground, or used as an oil. It is a popular ingredient in baked goods, smoothies, and as a vegan substitute for eggs in recipes. Regular consumption of flaxseed has been linked to improved heart health, digestive health, and reduced inflammation.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
