So, what is dextrósi?
Dextrósi is a simple sugar that is derived from corn starch. It has a high glycemic index and is often used as a sweetener in processed foods and beverages. Dextrósi is also used in baking, as it enhances the texture and browning of baked goods. Due to its ability to easily dissolve in water, dextrósi is used in sports drinks and energy bars to provide a quick source of energy to athletes. Despite being a type of sugar, dextrósi is considered safe for consumption by the FDA and other regulatory bodies.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
