So, what is dextróz?
Dextróz, also known as glucose, is a simple sugar that is commonly found in fruits, honey, and some vegetables. It is a vital source of energy for the human body, as it is easily broken down and converted into ATP, the molecule that fuels cellular processes. Dextróz is also widely used in food production as a sweetener, flavor enhancer, and texturizer. It has a high glycemic index, which means that it can cause a rapid spike in blood sugar levels. However, when consumed in moderation, dextróz can be a valuable part of a balanced diet.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
