So, what is difosfato?
Difosfato, also known as disodium phosphate, is a food additive commonly used in the food industry as an emulsifier, stabilizer, and pH buffer. It is a white crystalline powder with a slightly salty taste and is often added to processed meats, cheeses, and baked goods to improve their texture and appearance. Difosfato is also used in some cleaning agents and fertilizers. While generally recognized as safe by regulatory agencies, excessive use of difosfato has been linked to health concerns such as kidney damage and high blood pressure.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
