So, what is doppelrahm?
Doppelrahm is a German dairy product that translates to "double cream" in English. It is a rich, velvety cream that contains at least 60% fat, making it thicker and more indulgent than regular heavy cream. Doppelrahm has a slightly tangy flavor and a silky texture that makes it perfect for adding richness to sauces, soups, and desserts. It can also be whipped into a dense, luxurious topping for cakes and pies. Although doppelrahm is high in fat, it provides a source of vitamins A and D, as well as calcium.
