So, what is dorade sébaste?
Dorade sébaste, also known as redfish, is a popular fish species found in the North Atlantic and Mediterranean waters. It has a firm, white flesh with a delicate flavor that is often compared to that of snapper or sea bass. The fish has a distinctive red skin and bright, bulging eyes. Dorade sébaste is highly nutritious, being rich in protein, omega-3 fatty acids, and essential minerals like potassium and selenium. It can be prepared in a variety of ways, including grilling, baking, and frying, and is a staple ingredient in many Mediterranean and French dishes.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
