So, what is ei?
Ei, also known as a chicken egg, is a versatile and nutrient-dense food ingredient that can be used in a variety of dishes. It contains high-quality protein, essential vitamins (such as vitamin A, D, E, and B12), and minerals like iron and zinc. The yolk is rich in fat-soluble vitamins and antioxidants while the white is almost pure protein. Eggs can be boiled, fried, scrambled, poached, or baked and can be incorporated into baked goods, salads, sandwiches, soups, and more. They are widely available and affordable, making them an excellent choice for any kitchen.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
