So, what is fitomenadion?
Fitomenadion, also known as vitamin K₁, is a fat-soluble nutrient that plays an essential role in blood clotting and bone health. It is found naturally in green leafy vegetables, such as kale and spinach, as well as in certain animal products, such as liver and egg yolks. Fitomenadion supplements are also available in the form of tablets or injections, and are often prescribed to individuals with clotting disorders or those who are at risk for bone fractures. While deficiencies in vitamin K₁ are rare, ensuring adequate intake through diet or supplements can promote overall health and wellness.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
