So, what is fleisch?
Fleisch is the German word for meat, which commonly refers to beef, pork, and poultry. This ingredient is a versatile source of protein that can be cooked in various ways such as grilled, roasted, or stewed. Fleisch is an excellent source of essential nutrients like zinc, iron, and vitamin B12, which are vital for maintaining healthy blood cells, immune system, and metabolism. However, it is also high in cholesterol and saturated fat, which can increase the risk of heart disease if consumed excessively. When selecting fleisch, it is important to choose lean cuts and avoid processed meats to promote optimal health.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
