So, what is földimogyoró?
Földimogyoró, also known as Hungarian peanut, is a small, brown, oval-shaped legume with a hard outer shell that encloses two to three edible seeds. It has a nutty, earthy flavor that is slightly sweet and is commonly used in Hungarian cuisine to add flavor and texture to dishes. Földimogyoró is a good source of protein, fiber, and healthy fats, making it a nutritious ingredient to include in a balanced diet. Whether eaten raw, roasted, or ground into a paste, földimogyoró is a versatile ingredient that can add depth and richness to a variety of recipes.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
