So, what is garnacha?
Garnacha, also known as Grenache, is a red wine grape variety that originated in Spain but is now widely grown across the world, including France, Australia, and the United States. It produces full-bodied wines with high alcohol content and low acidity, which are often fruit-forward and spicy with notes of raspberry, cherry, and black pepper. In addition to being used for winemaking, garnacha is also commonly eaten as a fresh or dried fruit in Mediterranean cuisine, adding a sweet and tangy flavor to dishes like stews, salads, and desserts.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
