So, what is gräslök?
Gräslök, also known as chives, is a popular herb commonly used in Scandinavian and European cuisine. It is a member of the onion family, characterized by its long, thin, and hollow green stems with a mild onion flavor. Gräslök is an excellent source of vitamins A and C, as well as minerals such as calcium and iron. This versatile herb is often used as a garnish for salads, soups, and sauces, but it can also be added to omelets, scrambled eggs, and mashed potatoes to enhance the flavor. Gräslök can be easily grown in home gardens and is a must-have herb for any aspiring chef.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
