So, what is heumilch?

Heumilch, also known as hay milk, is a type of dairy product that is made from the milk of cows that have been fed on fresh grass and dried hay. The cows are typically raised in small, family-owned farms where they graze in open fields and eat natural vegetation. Heumilch is considered to be more nutritious than conventional milk, due to the higher levels of beneficial nutrients like omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins A and E. This traditional method of farming and production results in a rich, creamy milk with a distinct flavor that is ideal for making cheese, yogurt, and other dairy products.

How to quickly find the source of ingredients like heumilch?

We've built a database of 49359 ingredients (and growing), classified as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "maybe vegan".

We use it in our vegan ingredients scanner, which is the best way to avoid non-vegan ingredients - you take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
