So, what is honung?
Honung, also known as honey, is a natural and delicious food ingredient made by bees from the nectar of flowers. It has been used for thousands of years as a sweetener, medicine, and even currency. Honung contains antioxidants, enzymes, vitamins, and minerals that are beneficial for our health. It has a unique flavor profile depending on the type of flowers the bees visited and can range from light and floral to dark and robust. Honung is a versatile ingredient that can be used in a wide variety of recipes, such as desserts, marinades, dressings, and even skincare products.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
