So, what is huile végétales de colza?
Huile végétale de colza, or rapeseed oil, is a popular cooking oil derived from the seeds of the Brassica napus plant. It has a pale yellow color and a mild, nutty flavor, making it a versatile ingredient in a wide range of dishes, from salad dressings to stir-fries. High in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, as well as omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids, rapeseed oil is considered a healthy choice for cooking and baking. It also has a high smoke point, making it suitable for high-heat cooking methods such as frying and roasting.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
