So, what is jus d'orange pasteurisé?
Jus d'orange pasteurisé, or pasteurized orange juice, is a popular breakfast beverage that has been heated to high temperatures to kill bacteria and extend its shelf life. This process involves heating the juice to around 71-88°C for several seconds before rapidly cooling it down. The result is a product that retains much of the flavor and nutritional value of freshly squeezed oranges while remaining safe for consumption over an extended period. Pasturised orange juice generally does not contain any additional preservatives or additives, making it a healthy and refreshing choice for those seeking natural sources of vitamin C.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
