So, what is kale?
Kale is a leafy green vegetable that belongs to the same family as broccoli, cabbage, and Brussels sprouts. With its curly or flat leaves and vibrant green color, kale is not only visually appealing but also highly nutritious. Packed with vitamins A, C, and K, as well as antioxidants and fiber, kale is considered a superfood. Its hearty texture and slightly bitter taste make it a versatile ingredient in a range of dishes, from salads and smoothies to soups and stir-fries. Whether steamed, sautéed, or roasted, kale adds a healthy boost to any meal.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
