So, what is калиев йодат?
"Калиев йодат" is a food ingredient that is commonly used as a source of iodine in the human body. This white, odorless powder is made up of potassium and iodate ions, which help support normal thyroid function and protect against iodine deficiency disorders. It is often added to table salt or other processed foods to ensure adequate iodine intake, especially in areas where natural sources of iodine are scarce. While "калиев йодат" can be beneficial for maintaining good health, excessive consumption should be avoided as it may lead to adverse effects such as thyroid dysfunction.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
