So, what is kalsiumkloridi?
Kalsiumkloridi, also known as calcium chloride, is a food ingredient that is commonly used as a firming agent, preservative, and flavor enhancer. It is a salt that is highly soluble in water and has a slightly salty taste. Kalsiumkloridi is often added to processed foods, such as canned fruits and vegetables, to help maintain their texture and extend their shelf life. In addition to its uses in the food industry, kalsiumkloridi is also used in medicine, wastewater treatment, and as a de-icing agent on roads and sidewalks.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
