Kieselsäure has many industrial applications, including its use in the production of glass, ceramics, and electronics. In food, kieselsäure is often used as an anti-caking agent and to improve the flow of powdered ingredients. It is also believed to have beneficial effects on bone health and is sometimes used as a dietary supplement. While generally recognized as safe for consumption, excessive intake of kieselsäure can potentially lead to digestive issues.
