So, what is la taurine?
Taurine, also known as "la taurine," is an amino acid found in high concentrations in the brain, heart, and muscles. While it's not considered an essential amino acid, it plays a crucial role in various biological processes, including the modulation of neurotransmitters, regulation of electrolyte balance, and cardiovascular function. La taurine is commonly found in energy drinks and dietary supplements due to its potential to improve athletic performance and reduce fatigue. However, it's also naturally present in many animal-based foods, such as meat, fish, and dairy products. Despite some controversy surrounding its safety, taurine remains a popular ingredient in the food and beverage industry.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
