So, what is laktosa?
Laktosa, also known as lactose, is a natural sugar found in milk and dairy products. It consists of two simple sugars: glucose and galactose, and is commonly used as an ingredient in the food industry for its sweetening properties. However, some individuals are not able to digest lactose properly, leading to digestive discomfort such as bloating, gas, and diarrhea. As a result, lactose-free alternatives have become increasingly popular in recent years. Despite this, laktosa remains a key component in many delicious dairy-based products, from ice cream and yogurt to cheese and butter.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
