what is vegan

Is lattosio vegan?

Lattosio, also known as lactose, is a naturally occurring sugar found in milk and dairy products. It is a disaccharide made up of glucose and galactose molecules linked together. Lattosio plays an important role in the structure of milk and contributes to its taste and nutritional value. However, some individuals are unable to digest lattosio due to a lack of the enzyme lactase, leading to symptoms such as bloating and diarrhea. Lattosio is also used as an ingredient in various processed foods, including baked goods and medications.

Lattosio is a non-vegan food ingredient.
