So, what is lécithine soja?
Lécithine soja, also known as soy lecithin, is a versatile food ingredient derived from soybeans. It is commonly used as an emulsifier to help blend ingredients that don't naturally mix well together, such as oil and water. Lécithine soja is also used as a stabilizer, thickener, and texture enhancer in many processed foods. It is a rich source of phospholipids, which have been shown to support healthy brain function and improve cholesterol levels. Lécithine soja is considered safe for consumption by most people, including those with soy allergies, as it contains little to no soy protein.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
