So, what is linzen?
Linzen, also known as lentils, are edible legumes that are widely consumed across the world for their high nutritional value and versatility in cooking. These small, lens-shaped seeds come in a variety of colors, including green, brown, red, and black, and are a great source of protein, fiber, and essential vitamins and minerals. Linzen are incredibly versatile in the kitchen and can be used in a wide range of dishes, including soups, stews, salads, curries, and even burgers. With their hearty texture and earthy flavor, linzen are a popular ingredient in many vegetarian and vegan recipes, and are a great way to add plant-based protein to your diet.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
