So, what is lysozym?
Lysozyme is a natural enzyme found in egg white, tears, milk, and other bodily fluids. It has been widely used as an antibacterial agent in the food industry due to its ability to break down cell walls of bacteria, making it an effective preservative. Lysozyme also has applications in the pharmaceutical and cosmetic industries, where it can be used as an ingredient in topical creams and mouthwashes due to its antimicrobial properties. Additionally, lysozyme is being studied for its potential as an immunomodulatory agent in cancer treatment.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
