So, what is magnesiumhydroxid?
Magnesium hydroxide is a white, odorless powder that is commonly used as an antacid and laxative. It is made by reacting magnesium oxide with water, and it has a slightly alkaline pH. Magnesium hydroxide works by neutralizing stomach acid and drawing water into the intestines to help alleviate constipation. It is also used as a food additive, where it acts as a pH regulator and firming agent. Because it is safe and non-toxic, magnesium hydroxide is widely used in a variety of industries, including pharmaceuticals, cosmetics, and plastics.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
