So, what is magnesiumsulfat?
Magnesiumsulfat, also known as magnesium sulfate, is a white crystalline compound that is commonly used as a food ingredient. It is a naturally occurring mineral that is found in seawater, mineral springs, and in some minerals like epsomite. Magnesiumsulfat is often used as a coagulating agent in the production of tofu and as a firming agent in canned vegetables. It can also be used as a nutrient supplement and to help regulate the pH of certain foods. In addition, magnesiumsulfat has a variety of non-food uses, including as a component in bath salts and as a medical treatment for certain conditions.
We've built a vegan ingredients scanner that classifies food ingredients as "vegan", "non-vegan", or "potentially vegan".
It allows you to avoid non-vegan ingredients - just take a picture of a product's ingredient list, and the app tells you if the product is vegan or not.
